Every stitch
tells a story
BudY Lona I was left in the cold,
had to learn how to stand No father,
no mother, just God holdin' my hand They call me a loner,
say my heart made of stone But they never seen the battles
that I fought all alone
Needle in my hand,
turn the fabric to a vision Every stitch I sew is another
life decision Broken on the inside but I'm smiling through the pain
I'm just waiting on the day God will answer every prayer
Late nights, no sleep,
chasing dreams with empty pockets Everybody got opinions but nobody wanna stop
it They only see the silence,
never hear the cries But God knows every tear that I hide
behind my eyes
I'm still here
Didn't let the darkness win
Still breathe God ain't finished with me yet I'm stitched by grace
Not defined by my scars
Every tear made a soldier
Every prayer reached the stars I came from the bottom
Now I'm aiming for the throne
If they ask me who I am
God's still writing my story Fashion on my mind,
got a kingdom to create
One day they'll remember every door that made me wait I don't
sew clothes, I sew confidence and dreams Trying to give somebody hope
every time they wear my seams
Everybody left, so I learned to trust God Walking through the valley
but I never lost heart Sometimes I feel broken,
Sometimes I feel weak
But the Lion of Judah still fighting for me
I don't want revenge,
I just wanna be great Feed my family,
Put some food on every plate
When they see the blessing,
They won't know the hidden cost How many nights I cried,
How many times I got lost
Psalm one-four-seven He heals the brokenhearted If He brought me this far
I know He'll finish what He started Every scar got a purpose
Every stitch got a name
I was broken Now I'm walking in His grace I'm stitched by
grace
I wear my pain like art God took every broken piece
And sewed it to my heart No matter where I go I'll
never walk alone I'm more than my past I'm becoming what He
promised
