(growling) (hissing) Murphy the hound stands ten feet tall Tom and Jerry

heed the supernatural call

Grace held the power,

the focus of the room But jealousy sparked an immediate doom

Lewis watched on as the shadows aligned Three guardian beasts in a

battle designed

They cut her in half

at the edge of the blade A terrible price for the choice

On the brink of death,

they barely survive To keep the attention of Lewis alive

Grace was the favorite,

receiving the praise Murphy’s dark envy set the garden ablaze Two feline

spirits, though lesser in might

Struck from the flanks in the dead of the night

Now she is fallen,

the rival is gone But wounds are too deep as they crawl

to the dawn

Bleeding on the floor,

clinging to breath

Tom and Jerry staring down death Murphy is broken,

his armor is torn But a new

jealousy is instantly born

Who gets the comfort?

Who gets the touch?

They fought for his love,

and they wanted too much
