Runway Seduction

{airport ambience, rolling luggage wheels,

distant boarding gate crowd murmur,

boarding pass scanner beep} (hmmm) {boarding gate announcement through PA speaker with

slight radio compression} "Final call for gate twelve." {dry spoken female vocal}

We are now ready to board.

{seatbelt chime, overhead bin slamming,

jet engine spool-up low rumble} First class ticket but I sit in

the back Watching everybody panic over carry-on racks Yeah I'm sipping on

my tonic with a sarcastic laugh Got my headphones on,

checking out of the graph

{flight attendant PA microphone click} "Fasten your seatbelts,

we are preparing for takeoff." {engine roar accelerating,

massive jet engine taxi rumble} Going up,

going down, we don't care about the ground Keep it locked,

keep it tight, it's a very long flight (yeah) {white

noise riser, snare roll build} {massive energetic drop,

heavy rolling bassline, metallic percussion fills} Turbulence!

(hahaha) {short vocal chops,

dirty bass stabs, wide stereo layered doubles}

{turbulence rumble, ice cubes clinking in plastic cup,

water spilling onto tray table} Oops,

there goes my sparkling water on the tray But I look the

other way, I got nothing left to say

Nonchalant altitude, thirty thousand feet While the captain tells the cabin that

we're running out of heat (whatever) {landing gear deployment clunk,

reverse thrust roar} "We are beginning our final descent." Cabin pressure dropping

but the rhythm doesn't stop We are landing in the middle of

a heavy bass drop {building dynamic,

rising riser} {explosive bass house drop,

intense sub-bass weight, screaming synth

stabs} Touchdown!

{aggressive metallic synth

fills,

rapid vocal

chops, heavy driving kick,

wide layered stereo} {final arrival airport ambience,

seatbelt sign off chime,

cabin doors unlocking} Thank you for flying with us.

(bye-bye) {rolling luggage wheels fading out,

aircraft engine whine powering

down}
