Trenches of Agony

{heavy cold rain, freezing wind,

muddy battlefield, no music} {slow heavy boots squishing through deep mud,

steady rain and wind} {distant artillery cannon fires,

closer thunderous explosion, heavy rain} {rusted chains rattle softly,

wet wooden trench walls creak under stress} (hiss) (haaaah) (hiss) (hooooh) {slow

breathing through a vintage gas mask,

heavy filtered air hiss} {empty brass shells tumbling into mud,

old military radio static crackles} {officer trench whistles echo from multiple directions,

intense rain} {incoming artillery shell screaming overhead,

massive nearby explosion} {tinnitus ringing frequency,

ambient battlefield sounds completely disappear} (hiss) (haaaah) {ringing slowly fades to silence,

slow mechanical breath, deep metal groan}
