Hair tied up, headphones on,
Running late but singing every song.
Lip gloss in my jacket pocket,
Little things just make me love it.
Sunlight dancing on the train,
Writing hearts across the windowpane.
Nothing special, nothing new,
Still somehow it feels brand new.
Maybe magic’s in the smallest moments,
Like laughing way too hard with friends.
If today goes by too quickly,
I’ll just play it all again.
It’s a lucky day,
lucky day, Clouds are drifting out my way.
Every little second shines,
Like somebody pressed rewind.
Pink skies, polaroids, Tiny moments I enjoy.
Nothing has to be perfect,
That’s what makes it worth it.
Got my favorite sweater on,
Even though it’s almost warm.
Bought a flower from the corner stand,
Just because I kinda can.
Phone’s filled up with blurry pictures,
Every smile’s a little different.
If tomorrow changes everything,
I’ll remember how this felt.
Running through the afternoon,
Making wishes at the moon.
Maybe growing up just means
Keeping pieces of these dreams.
It’s a lucky day,
lucky day, Everything just falls in place.
Hearts are lighter than before,
I don’t need a little more.
Sweet breeze, butterfly, Watching all the hours fly.
Nothing has to be perfect,
That’s what makes it worth it.
Maybe one day we’ll look back,
At these tiny, shining snapshots.
We’ll laugh about the little things That somehow meant everything.
It’s a lucky day,
lucky day, I’ll remember it this way.
Even when the seasons change,
Some feelings always stay.
Pink skies, polaroids, Holding onto little joys.
Growing up feels less scary When today is waiting for me.
La-la, lucky day…
Maybe happiness looks this simple.
