Prayer and Paws

When I was just a little kid,

about two years old I spoke German!

Just kidding, that's not what I'm told I spoke minion language,

babbling all day

My mom said "Why do you talk that way?"

So I stopped with the babble,

left those sounds behind

Now English and Spanish

are the words you will find Got seven happy dogs

running round the yard And four sweet cats sleeping,

guard duty isn't hard

I used to have two little birds,

but they're gone today

Flying up in heaven

with Jesus, far away (soaring high) Yeah,

they're flying high up in the sky

I praise to God

every day, yeah, every day

I pray every night,

every morning, come what may Before I eat,

after I wake, I lift my voice

To talk to Him is my favorite choice
