Breaking Through Noise

Yeah…

Midnight calls, I’m awake again,

Too many thoughts that I never send.

I got a static heart,

it’s breaking through the noise,

Lost a little peace but I’m finding my voice.

Rain on the window,

streetlights in the dark,

Trying to fix the pieces of a damaged heart.

I been running from the pain that I hide inside,

Smiling for the world while I’m losing my mind.

But I’m still here,

yeah, I’m playing my part,

Even with a storm inside my static heart.

I remember nights when I felt so low,

Nobody saw the battles I don’t show.

Had dreams in my head and fire in my chest,

Fell a couple times but I’m still at my best.

People switch up when the lights get bright,

So I keep my circle small and my goals in sight.

I don’t need a crowd just to know my worth,

I been building myself from the dirt.

I got a static heart,

Because the lost ones always find their ground.
