Road to Sunrise

Yeah…

They don’t know the road I walked… They just see where I’m

standing now.

Came from a place where I had to learn to survive,

Carrying pain but I still kept my dream alive.

Had some dark days,

had to fight through the rain,

Lost some people, but I grew from the pain.

Moved away with a heart full of reasons,

Trying to make something better out of every season.

For the ones I love,

I was willing to change lanes,

Even when life tested me,

I stayed in my lane.

They don’t see the nights when I questioned my purpose,

They don’t see the battles behind the surface.

Still showing up when the road got tough,

Still believing in myself when it wasn’t enough.

I’m still standing, yeah,

I’m still here, Made it through the moments I was fighting my

fears. They counted me out,

but I never lost faith,

Every scar on my body got a story to say.

I been through the struggle,

I been through the pain,

But I know every storm can’t last forever,

man. I’m building my future,

I’m chasing my dreams,

Nobody can take away what’s inside of me.

Had to learn peace is worth more than attention,

Not everybody around you got the right intentions.

I gave my heart,

I gave everything I had,

But those lessons made me stronger from the things that were bad.

Now I’m creating something bigger than me,

Putting my name on a vision that they can see.

Carnell Academy, that’s more than a name,

It’s proof that you can rebuild after going through pain.

Some days were heavy,

but I carried the weight,

Still thankful I woke up because that’s another day.

I don’t need revenge,

I just need elevation,

I’m focused on growth and a better destination.

This is for anybody who feels left behind,

Keep pushing forward, your moment will shine.
