Giving glory to God while the story still writing itself,
Funny how the strongest foundations get built when you’re fighting yourself.
Used to ask Heaven for answers,
now I thank it for the doubt,
’Cause every time I lost my way I learned what faith was
really about.
See, glass meets a stone and shatters,
that’s the nature of what it is,
But pressure creates a diamond,
and resistance reveals what lives.
Heat. Cold.
Heat. Cold. Again and again.
Life kept putting my soul in the fire just to pull out
a better man.
The mountain never changed you.
The climb did. The destination never healed you.
The time did.
The blessing wasn’t getting everything
you prayed for as a kid.
The blessing was becoming someone capable
of carrying it. Back then I hated the struggle,
thought pain was something to escape,
Now I see every scar was a fingerprint God left upon the
clay. The grey hairs coming quicker now,
time collecting all its debt,
Reminding me tomorrow is a promise that nobody really gets.
So I work with my whole heart.
Every closed door redirected me.
Every delay refined me.
Every season I thought God forgot me
was God redesigning me.
And maybe that’s why peace feels different these days.
I don’t need life to be perfect
for me to recognize
it’s beautiful.
Maybe the purpose was to be transformed.
To let the fire
burn away the ego.
Until one day
you wake up
and realize the miracle wasn’t the life God gave you.
The miracle was who God was creating
while you were busy
living it.
