I still reach for the phone sometimes When something good comes my

way

Wanting to hear your gentle voice

Telling me everything's okay

Your door was always open wide Your heart had room for everyone

You made a house feel just like home

With your smile shining like the sun

And though you're gone your love remains

In every lesson

every memory

Grandma I carry you with me

In every step and every dream Your love still lights the darkest

roads

Even when you're not here with me

You were my shelter you were my guide My strength when life

got hard to bear

And until we meet again someday

I'll find your love everywhere

You taught me kindness without words And strength without having to fight

You showed me how to stand up tall And keep my faith

through every night Your wisdom echoes in my heart Whenever I don't

know what to do

I hear your voice inside my mind And somehow it still leads

me through

The years may pass the tears may fall

But nothing takes your place at all

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted That's the promise that I
