Here we are, one more morning

Side by side

at Miles we start

Hallway laughter, backpacks swinging

Pencils tapping, trading names

Every classroom held a story

Every day we learned and changed

From the playground to the blacktop From the bells to homeroom time

We were growing without knowing

How these years would help us shine

Now the door is opening wider We can feel it in our

hearts

Little steps are turning bigger

This is where the new road starts Miles Elementary,

we carry you with us Fifth grade dreamers reaching up together
