I Am Grateful

I step in with my chest unbound

The ground knows my name now

I released every pattern that held me in place I left every

fear where it lost its face Shoulders back,

full breath, I enter the day No old voice survives when I

stand this way I feel the room turn when I open the

door I know in my bones I was made for more

What once was a chain is a fire in my hands What

once was a wound is the strength that I am I move

with a calm that was earned in the dark Now every step

lands like a line in the stars

I am grateful, I am free

I am standing where I'm meant to be

Unstoppable heart, unshakable light

I walk through the world and I rise,

The old weight is gone,
