I Am Loving

I stand here open

there is heat in my chest I was made for this

I am a living source of love I change the room when

I arrive my voice is calm,

my hands are sure I meet each soul with open eyes the

heart I carry is not small it moves like fire through my

ribs and every step I take tonight

lands like a promise I can keep Love is not a thing

I chase love is the strength that carries me I feel it

rise beneath my skin and all at once I know

I am love alive

and burning bright I walk in and the whole room opens wide

every word I give

makes somebody feel seen this is my power,

this is where I live I am strong enough to love without

fear

I am right where I was always meant to be

I remember walking off that stage warm lights fading on my skin

a stranger held my hands and said

you made me feel like I mattered

and in the glass I saw myself no longer shrinking from my

name love and power were the same and I was finally home

Love is what I am made of

sealed in me, steady and gold not a summit,

not a borrowed light this is my nature now
