Simulated Roles

Life is like a simulation

Everybody

got a part to play

Some wear a smile like armor

Some keep their truth tucked away

Some chase the gold in the daylight Some just survive day to

day

Every room got its actors Every heart learns a role somehow

But under all of the motion We still want something real right

now

Round and round, the scenes keep turning

Still I look for what is true

If the script was always changing

I would still come back to you

I don't want a borrowed ending I want to mean the words
