His Grace Endures (Psalm 30)

I lift Your Name above the stormy sea,

For You have pulled me from the deepest clay,

And silenced every foe

who mocked at me.

To You, my God,

I cried out in dismay,

And in Your mercy,

You restored my breath,

Wiping my sickness and my pain away.

Venez, tuit saint, et voiz haut eslevez,

His wrath is brief as fleeting shadows fly,

His grace endures throughout a life of grace; Though tears may fall

beneath the midnight sky,

The morning joy shines from His Shining Face.

When peace surrounded me in quiet space,

I boasted that my feet would never shake,

Secure and sheltered in my resting place.

To You, O Lord,

I knelt to watch and pray,

And poured my broken plea into your ear,

Crying for mercy through the heavy day.

My heart shall sing Your praise with all its might,

No longer silent in the dark embrace; My God and Lord,

I praise You day and night.
