I fall between

the velvet

Soft gold under my skin

Night turns over, lets me in

Every color folds and sways I can feel the hidden waves

Lighter when I let it move Darker where the deep notes bloom

Pull me farther from the ground

Take me where the heart is found Hold me in the turning

Make a room from smoke and prayer

When the ceiling opens wide I go drifting past my mind
