Slow as the morning opens Hands draw a quiet circle Feet find

the earth below

Breathe

and turn

Softly we rise

Water in the arms

Still in the eyes Weight moves like a slow river One side

yields, one side gathers The center never hurries Round and return Hold

and release Air through the palms Breathe and turn Softly we

rise Water in the arms Still in the eyes Calm in the

shoulders Calm in the knees Night in the breathing Peace in the

leaves
