Held, Free, Near (Hear Peace) Psalm 26

Vindicate, Lord, hear. Blameless and true,

Trusting in Your name,

Never to falter, Holding fast,

Secure.

Mindful, Unfailing love,

Your truth guides me,

Lived in Your faithfulness,

Walking day by day,

Safe now,

Held. Test,

Try me,

Search deep within,

Examine my whole heart,

Probing every thought,

Pure gold, Tried.

Clear,

No

lies,

Away from deceit, Never sitting with the fake,

Rejecting hypocrites, Clean hands,

Free.

Hate,

Evil crowds, Abhorring the wicked,

Refusing their dark assembly,

Standing far apart,

True

path,

Safe.

Clean,

Innocent hands,

Walking round the altar,

Purified in God’s grace,

Pure devotion rising, Holy Space,

Near.

Spare,

Save my soul,

Not with sinners, Rescue from the bloodthirsty,

Do not sweep me away,

Mercy found,

Live.

Shout,

Praise aloud,

Telling wondrous deeds, Proclaiming Your great work,

Lifting joyful voices, Glory rings,

Hear.

Firm,

Level ground, Standing secure today,

Praising in the great crowd,

Blessing the Lord forever,

Congregation sings,

Peace.
