Her Smile Distracts Me

(mmm-mmm) Third period history,

notebook open wide

Teacher's talking dates, but my mind is somewhere else

You're two rows over,

by the window pane Sunlight catching on your golden curls I try

to read the chalkboard,

try to write it down

Every time you turn my whole world spins around

I tap my pencil to the beat of my chest

Can't keep my focus on a single test

(oh yeah)

Cause when you flash that beautiful smile

Everything stops for a little while Got zero pages written,

lost my place Stuck daydreaming on your glowing face Yeah you smile,

and my focus is gone

(lost in your smile)

The bell rings sudden,

papers start to clear

You catch my eye and

whisper something near

I just nod my head like I caught the joke Tripping on

my backpack, tongue is completely tied

Walking down the hallway in a pleasant daze Lost completely in your

sweet and easy ways

I tap my locker with this crazy grin

I wonder if you notice the shape I'm in

Cause when you flash that beautiful smile Everything stops for a little

while Got zero pages written,

lost my place Stuck daydreaming on your glowing face Yeah you smile,

and my focus is gone

(so far gone)

Maybe tomorrow I will say hello

Ask for a pencil,

tell you what you don't know

That across this crowded desk and chair

You're the only person standing there

When you flash that beautiful smile

Everything stops for a little while

Never gonna study, never gonna pass Falling for the prettiest girl in

class Yeah you smile,

and my focus is gone (that beautiful smile,

yeah)

Lost my focus again (hahaha)
