Chimera,
he was part rabbit,
part kitty cat
Siamese,
with cute little bunny feet
For our big girl,
her first family pet We’ll never forget when we put the responsibility
of naming him on you
What the hell is a guh,
loo-loo?
Well we couldn’t have that
Seriously, what’s guh-loo-loo?
So we changed that meet,
chimera!
Cuz he’s different things,
right babe? (yeah)
Win-win we gotta cool name
Ended up our cat anyway Didn’t plan it just happened
Things were going good for a long time
Till he got out at the wrong time Outdoor cat!
Always came home and made the bassinet his throne
Drank from the toilet,
his other throne
Ouch!
I swear to god if I step on another chewed off claw!
Chimera! Here kitty-kitty
All good,
except for the fur balls
And the tufts of hair,
everywhere!
There’s not enough lint rollers in the world to lint roll all
the hair away
Now Katie’s got allergies!!
We really, really, really love you though Such a good big cat
brother to the dogs,
so tolerant
But then you went,
getting into cat fights!
You aren’t cut out for this old man
Tattered and beaten you come stumbling home
Licking your wounds
for a week
Then that one week,
you didn’t come home and we were moving
You didn’t get to join us on the adventure
Can’t shake the feeling that you didn’t survive,
no body,
no evidence
Love you chimera,
wherever you are
If you’re…D…E…A…D
Then,
R…I…P
