Lord Let My Soul See Only Thee by T.L. Newton

Lord let my soul see only Thee;

Shelter me safe beneath Thy Wing:

Search Thou my heart,

O Lord lead me,

And may my life a blessing bring.

O let my song be sung to Thee,

And not for the

applause of men;

Forgetting self, see only Thee,

Until my songs, with Heaven blend.

Lord close my eyes to carnal things;

The stain of sin my soul would see:

More praise to Thee; Glory bring,

Lord let my soul see only Thee.

O let my life be lost in Thine,

Humble and true more bended be;

Trusting In Thee, Savior Divine,

Lord let my soul see only Thee.

Lord keep my soul in Thy control:

Thy Word obey, surrendered be;

Should sorrow sweep only my soul,

Lord Let me then see only Thee.

O Spirit sent from Heaven Above,

Thy Presence here doth comfort me;

I rest in Thy unchanging Love,

Lord Let my soul now rest in Thee.
