I remember those long nights,
When the tears began to fall,
I wondered if my Savior
Could hear me when I called.
But down there in the valley,
When I thought I’d lost my way,
I felt His hand upon me,
And I heard my Savior say—
He’s still holding my hand,
He’s still leading me on,
Through the valleys and the mountains,
He will never leave me alone.
When the road gets hard to travel,
And I can’t understand,
I’ll keep trusting in my Jesus— He’s still holding my hand!
(yes, Lord)
I’ve seen the mighty river,
And I’ve faced the raging storm,
But the Lord has been my shelter,
He has kept me safe and warm.
When the world says,
“Give up now,”
And the night seems never-ending,
I just look toward Heaven
And remember who’s defending me.
He’s still holding my hand,
He’s still leading me on,
Through the valleys and the mountains,
He will never leave me alone.
When the road gets hard to travel,
And I can’t understand,
I’ll keep trusting in my Jesus He’s still holding my hand! (amen)
I may not know
What tomorrow
brings!
But I know
The King of Kings!
He’s STILL holding my hand!
He’s STILL leading me on!
Through the valleys and the mountains,
He will NEVER leave me alone!
When the road gets hard to travel,
And I can’t understand,
I’ll keep trusting in my Jesus—
HE’S STILL HOLDING MY HAND! (hallelujah)
Oh, He’s holding my hand!
Yes, He’s holding my hand!
All the way to Heaven— HE’S STILL
HOLDING MY HAND! (amen)
