Ash on my teeth,

copper in my breath Every ticking second leaning into death

My shield is split,

the armor ground to rust Still I plant my heels deep into

the dust (stand tall)

The banners burned out hours ago

There's no retreat, no place to go

Break my bones, shatter every frame

I will breathe defiance through the flame

Even if my last stand bleeds the ground dry

I'll look this ruin straight into the eye
