chasing what I couldn’t see.

No family beside me,

had to find my way,

Through the hardest nights,

I still faced another day.

Mama Aggie prayed, her prayers carried me,

And Dromo, Dzormor, Kuneme,

Janae gave me reason to believe.

When life got heavy and I wanted to fall,

God gave me strength—I kept answering the call.

Through the pain, through the struggle,

through every tear.

From Ghana to Canada,

God made a way,

I never gave up,

and I won’t today.
