Judgement Bar Of God by T.L. Newton

When before the Judgement Bar of God we stand,

Judged of all the things done in the body here;

Standing there with all the Saints of Ages past,

As before the Judgment Bar we all appear.

Will we shout and sing salvation’s story

At the Judgement Bar of our God?

Of our God?

Or will we be found weeping there in Glory,

As we wait at the Judgement Bar of God?

Of our God? (ahhhh)

When before the Lord,

on His great judgement day,

We must stand when He will call us one by one;

Will we falter when we’re ready to be judged,

As we stand to testify of things we’ve done.

Clamabimusne et canemus salutis historiam

Ante tribunal Dei nostri?

Dei nostri?

An illic in gloria flentes inveniemur,

Dum expectamus ante tribunal Dei nostri?

Dei nostri?

Have you made your calling

and election sure,

Have you counted all the blessings He gave you?

Have you laid aside the garments stained with sin,

Did you finish all the Lord asked you to do?

Some will sing and others will be weeping,

At the Judgement Bar of our God?

Of our God?

Are you ready to enter into Glory,

And to stand at the Judgement Bar of God?

Of our God? (ahhhh)
