Born in the basement where two cities meet. Detroit Soul House takes the raw mechanical pulse of Detroit techno and runs it through the warm bloodstream of Chicago deep house. The result is something that never fully belonged to either city but couldn't exist without both. No polish. No compromise. Just a rolling bassline that never resolves, a kick drum that hits like a closed fist, and enough soul in the spaces between the beats to make you feel something you cannot name.
